Re: HUMPHREY FAVEL (1821-1888)

I am sorry, but further investigation led me to Mary's sister Harriet Jane, who I found was my relation. She married Peter Sinclair. I never went further on the rest of the family.

Re: MATTHEW LILLEY (1908-1969)

Hello Gary, What a coincidence after reading the above post, seeing Garry Matthew Lilley's name, as he was married to my cousin, Dorothy Hudson. She was the daughter of my Aunt, Beatrice Whittingham who was married to Stanley Edward Hudson. Dorothy was born Dec. 16, 1943 & died May 22, 2017. The...

Re: Lorraine Violet Sinclair born 1931 Selkirk Mb

Gary, I was reading the posts from nickleday2, & wondering how she would receive her Metis card, if she didn't have more info., in regards to her lineage on her Mother's family. The M.M.F., would need this in order to issue a card.

Re: WILLIAM BALLENDINE (1790-1869)

The 1870 census shows Margaret Ballendine's Father as Wm. Ballendine. Where does it show that Margaret, born around 1835, (wife of Peter Stevenson), was born to this Wm. Ballendine & Mary Stevens?
Thanks, Merrily

Re: PETER STEVENSON (1830-1918)

The 1870 census shows Peter's Father as Wm. Stevenson, that we know. What I am trying to find out is where does it show that he was born around 1830 to this Wm. Stevenson & Mary Williams? Also Mary's age is shown as born around 1820. She would then have been 10 years old when this Peter was born...

Re: WILLIAM BALLENDINE (1790-1869)

Hello Gary, In the line where it says I have a copy of the marr. certificate, it should say, "Peter believed to have been the son of Mary Williams & Wm. Stevenson", (instead of daughter). Also, in that regard, I am not sure how you came to the conclusion that Peter's wife is this Marga...

Re: WILLIAM COCHRANE (1842-1882)

Gary, could you please tell me how to access the info., you mention from the Wpg. Free Press, April 21, 1876 showing a list of St. Peter's band members? You also mention The Daily Free Press, 1871 showing a list, in Samuel Stevenson's family history.
Thanks, Merrily
