To David McKenzie regarding CC McKenzie in Victoria: I have an old picture from my grandmother with CC McKenzie written on the back. He is standing with his wife in front of a picket fence surrounding their house. In the background, one can see the steeple of a church.

Benjamin McKenzie was my mother's grandfather. The story in our family is that he died in Lahaina harbour, playing 'silly buggers' in a canoe, wherein the goal was to stand up without touching the sides on the canoe for support.
