Their daughter Nancy's name would make sense since Alexanders grandmother's name was Nancy who married john Moore, Nancy and John also named a child Nancy but she died young and apparently the lake in Ontario is named after her Moars Lake ,the lake used to be called eagles lake.

John Richard Settee married my great great aunt Louisa Moore/Moar. They had 8 children as far as I can tell . They were John Robert jr. , james Henry, Flora Ann, Thomas Alfred, Nathan , and Miriam. In the 1891 census they lived in Prince Albert Saskatchewan.

Yes those are the names of their children and the dates they were born. Looks like Alexander had a son Thomas born 1888 and a son William born 1896. Alexander may have had 2 wives as his first wife's name was mary and the other was Catherin. I'm still going through my notes so i might come up with m...

My great grandfather Robert Moore/Moar's older brother John married Matilda Morriseau , there is a copy of their wedding cert. in the book Many Tender Ties, They moved around Dryden area in the 1865 ish . I will look at my papers when I get a chance and get the names of all their children and repost...
