The William Moore/Moar that I have some notes on immigrated from Orkney in 1876 he married Rosalie Miercedi and moved to St. Norbert.

I think this Thomas Moore is a different family, my research tells me his father was John Moore/Moar that was born on 1777 in Orkney and retired to Red river in 1832. This Thomas was born 1830 and married Elizabeth Mckay . they had a son William Moore/Moar born 1863 at Red River. I found this out by...
