Thanks very much for your donation Marc!
And thanks for that extra information. It will probably take me a couple of days to do a follow-up review of all this information. I will get back to you s.a.p.

Hi, Gary: Barry Durie here. If you are interested, I have more info on Wm. Cook and Mary Beardy's son Matthew. Matthew's first wife was Victoria Parisien, married Oct. 13, 1882. His second wife, was Mary Elizabeth Kennedy, born 1863. They were married Nov. 12, 1885. I believe she was Mary Elizabeth Kennedy Spence. I have copies of both marriage certificates. Matthew and Mary Kennedy were my great grandparents. Thier daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cook and her husband, William Augustus Durie were my grandparents. I can give you my Family info if you are interested. I can still remember as a small child, my great uncle Alfred Cook, Granny's brother, being a great native spokesman in Ottawa when he was Chief at Bloodvein Reserve. Enough of my rambling. Contact me if you want to. bkdurie@shaw.ca. My database is 73,000 names. Regards, Gary...............Barry.

Hi again Barry – I do have a fairly good handle on your lineage. I must say however that I was having problems with the MATTHEW COOK (1860-1935) Family and would be grateful if you could Email me with more details.
In the 1906 census in St Peters IR their children were Maria (age 12), Bella (10), Percival (8) and Peter (age 6).
In the 1916 census they were recorded in the Peguis Reserve but his wife and children were not named – only listed as: Son (age 22), son (19), daughter (18), daughter (13) and daughter (age 10).

Not really on my Priority List at this time, but might consider doing a Family Page for them if/ when I gather enough information.
