Hi Gary
According to the St Paul’s (Middlechurch) Anglican Church records at the Manitoba Genealogical Society, there are only two children born to John Balsillie and Ann Flett. Florence Ann, who was baptized on June 5, 1862 and James who was baptized on Oct 29, 1867. Nobody at ancestry knew about Florence until I posted her a year ago.
I also found in these records, the following Flett children born to Peter and Euphemia, after 1849:
Elizabeth Sophia baptized February 24, 1850
Euphemia Catherine baptized May 9, 1852
Sarah Jane baptized June 12, 1854
Isabella Flora baptized May 11, 1856
William Thomas baptized January 17, 1858
John Alfred baptized March 11, 1860
George James baptized August 10, 1862
All the older children are listed on Peter Flett’s HBC Bio Sheet.

I updated Peter’s Page; hope I got it right.

Beth: I’m having a problem regarding John Alfred FLETT b-1860. He does not appear as a child of or with Peter FLETT in the 1881 and 1891 censuses, but rather he appears with Nancy CLOUSTON and William FLETT (1817-1882) in both the 1870 and 1881 censuses. Am I missing something?

Gary: John Alfred Flett married Christina Anderson before those census. In 1881, John Flett age 21, is living in the St Pauls distract with his wife Christina (21) and daughters Elizabeth Jane (2), Catherine E (3 months).
In 1891 He and his family are listed as John "Fleet" on the first page of Manitoba, Lisgar, Plessis (Fort Alexander)

As usual, you are right on Beth!
I was being confused by the two John Alfred’s born around the same time. With that hang-up out of the way, I can now (soon) post a new page for him.
