Bill is my Great Grandfather. My Father Earl Albert Vivian is the ninth son of Frances Jane Sanderson (1886 - 1928) and George Vivian (1878 - 1951). As you can see Frances Jane is Bill's daughter.

I have masses of information about the family that I will start to upload to the forum over the next few months.

1870 Age: 24 Marriage to Elizabeth Barbara Adams in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada
1874 Age: 28 Marriage to Euphemia "Finia" Whitford in St. Mary's Anglican Church, Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada

I also have a manuscript dictated by Bill to Mary Sophia Desmaris Campbell just before his death outlining memories of his life.

I have done another update on Bill’s Family Page and will do more updates whenever necessary, as time permits and as new information is received.

Regarding Bill’s birth date: In two different Scrip Affidavits, Bill stated his birth date as Sep 29, 1844, and he indicated that he “moved to Manitoba when he was two years old.”

Thanks I have just re-checked the documents that I have and you are right the affidavits that he signed do give 1844 as his birth year.
