Hello Joesph Stranger( 1975d) home is still exist at Lot 8 Walker Ave in SELKIRK.Mb ...239 Walker Ave a Red RIVER SIDEHALL construsted 1 1/2 story house built around 1910? and moved to Walker ave in 1938 when road was subdived into builted lots by Peter Walker.. purchase from OLIVE STRANGER in 1993 by present owner PETER ALEXANDER GEORGE / JARED MATTEW IRVINE and plumbing and natural gas updated in 1994 ,but before that ..Handpump community well for area residents and outhouse and wood cook stove ..RETAINS MUCH OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRUCTION ,INCLUDING SHED ..BELIVED BY THE LOCAL ELDERS WAS MOVE THERE VIA RED RIVER UP VIMY ROAD TO MAIN ST ,THEN LOCATE AS PRESENT..Take note original COOK house (about the same age as STRANGER house) next door till 1993? and other side CHAMBERS house 1959 time period ..Original Peter Walker on corner of Walker Ave and Main ST (SQUARE LOG consuction) heavy altered .AREA known as ST.Peter's or OLD PEGUIS FIRST NATION ..Thank to the original Stranger family for allow me to be the caretaker of this older Selkirk home
