Murdoch Reid and Isabella Reid (Bird) are my G-Great grandparents. I have obtain pictures of both of them. I am curious as to the date of death for Isabella Reid - indicated that she died in Hamilton, Ontario in 1933. I have search everywhere I can think of and can not see anything indicating that she moved to Hamilton and died there. She was living with one of her sons, Frank in Selkirk, Manitoba after Murdoch died. I will continue checking census as do not believe that she moved to Hamilton.

There is little doubt that Isabella died Jan 15, 1933 in Hamilton, Ontario, at the age of 82. Myron Olafson (Aneestry.ca) provides the actual Death Registration, which includes information provided by her daughter Laurinda (Mrs. W.E. CLARK) with whom she was apparently living when she died.

Isabella was my great great grandmother. She moved here to Hamilton Ontario and lived with her daughter (my great grandmother) Laurinda Clark (the youngest of her children) She passed away here. Even my records are confusing as to her birth date I have April 3rd 1850 but I also recently came across a copy of when she applied for scrip on the 8th of September 1875 which states she was born 1849. My personal records show she passed away Jan 1933 I hope this is helpful.

My Maiden name is Carol Lynn Misener/Szyszka/Beauchamp/Baverstock born Sept 11 1958, (yes I was busy lol I've added other married names in their order. My mother's Susan Carol Clark /Misener/Raymond born June 25 1939, (father was William Stuart Misener). The line follows my mother. Her Father was Kenelm William Clark born January 22 1907, died July 30 2004, his mother was Laurinda Mary Reid/Clark born March 10 1882, died November 20 1975

There is much more I can add such as all for Laurinda's children, Kenelm's, Susan's, mine lol and a bit of history of Kenelm such as he played for the Hamilton Tigers (now the Hamilton Tigercats) winning 2 grey cups, as well as won a bronze medal in the 1932 olylimpics in LA for rowing. Also spouses.

Just to explain my MrsHomer name. It's the name I use for my artwork. Which is actually Mrs Homer Lynn. (Homer is the nickname I have for my husband)

Thank you for the information on Isabella Reid, I have been searching for her records at the Manitoba Archives and was under the assumption that she died in Manitoba. I will share information with my mother Cameillia Boyce who is the grand daughter of Catherine Davies whose mother is Isabella Reid.

Cathy- it's a long shot, but since you have a picture of Isabella is it possible you have a pic of her sister Annie?
