I have Sutherland Norquay on the 1901 Census as born in Scotland in 1853. His wife Elizabeth Jessie died in ~1898 and some of the children can be found on the 1901 census in an orphanage.

William GS McBean's daughter Annie McBean was my great-great-grandmother. Her and Andrew Lockhart's eldest daughter Ethel was my great-grandmother. Ethel married Herbert Garner, and their son Gilbert was my grandfather. Gilbert married Margaret Hilliar, and their daughter Theresa is my mother. Grandma Lockhart (as she was called) lived to be 104, so my mother knew her. I was also fortunate to know my great-grandmother Ethel and celebrate her hundredth birthday before she passed.
