Which FAVEL was her husband and when/ where was he born?

Thanks so much Clagows: (Can you give me a first name to refer to you by?)
I think you might be able to help me solve several puzzles.

Looks like Ronald FAVEL was an adopted grandson of Mary ANDERSON and James FAVEL (1851-1926). Can you tell me who Ronald’s father was?

Regarding Mina SINCLAIR: You say her father was William McIVOR, so I presume with the surname SINCLAIR she was born out of wedlock? Do you know who her parents were? My guess so far is that she was a child of Caroline PRINCE (b-1878) who married John George SINCLAIR (1875-1925), and if that were the case she would have been a half-sister of Amy SINCAIR-CLEMONS and a descendant of Chief PEGUIS.

I actually have no information on Ronald at all. I've been doing a lot of digging but always come to dead ends. I didn't know him.

My dad seems to think Ronald's father's name was Alex and thinks his mother was named Clara but I have no last name for Clara. I also think Ronald had a sister named Sarah. My grandmother said that Ronald had other siblings but didn't know who they were, thought he had a brother or two. I'm unable to find anything. According to the copy of the 1916 Census I have, he is registered with James Favel and listed as his grandson. Ronald also had a half sister, her name was Victoria Stevenson (married name, not sure of maiden name). I can't find any information on her either. She lived I Selkirk and died in Selkirk. I knew her pretty well from frequent family visits.

My name is Terry, son of Carl and Lois.

That is correct, gramma was born out of wedlock. Gramma's (Mina) Mother was Agnes Sinclair, daughter of Caroline Prince and John George Sinclair.

Amy Sinclair-Clemons was my gramma's aunt. Agnes Sinclair and Amy Sinclair were sisters, direct descendants of Chief Pegius.... that is correct. I am able to trace my roots right up to Chief Peguis but not beyond.

Thanks again Terry. I think I have the whole picture now and you’ve been a great help.
If Ronald’s father was Ales then he’s the Alex FAVEL who died in 1914 at the age of 29, and his parents were in fact Mary ANDERSON and James FAVEL (1851-1926).
Give me a day or so and I will be creating Family Pages for James FAVEL and for John George SINCLAIR (1875-1925).
I’ll let you know when I post them on my website. Stay tuned.
