I have visited the gravesite of William Sinclair & Elizabeth Anderson. The date of death for William is July 16, 1870 age 84 years and his wife Elizabeth died June 14th, 1872 age 70 years. This headstone is located at St. Andrew's Church on the Red, RM or Parish of St. Andrew's.

I do believe the Catherine Sinclair who married Joseph Donald that you have listed with William's family belongs to Bakie Sinclair.

Thanks Jewel! You’re absolutely right on all accounts. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. My sloppy mistakes! I had conflicting information from several sources previously and forgot to make the corrections. I guess I needed someone like you to give me a prod. I have updated his Family Page accordingly.

Do you have any family connections with this family yourself?

Yes, I am the great great granddaughter of William & Elizabeth. I have been working on this tree for a couple of years now.

William and Elizabeth are my great great paternal grandparents. Their son Peter is my great grandfather and of course he married Sarah Ann Fidler daughter of Edward Fidler and Nancy Ann Bremner. My grandfather was Thomas Sinclair son of Peter and Sarah Sinclair. He was born 3rd April, 1897 in the Kirkpatrick Subdistrict, Prince Albert District, NWT. He married twice. His first wife whom he married in 1916 is my grandmother. Her name was Florence Pocha. His second wife whom he married in 191935 was Beatrice Campbell.

My Grandmother was Florence May Pocha, born 26th day of March, 1899 in the Lindsay District, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Robert James Pocha and Alice Bannerman. Gramma Florence died in May of 1935, but no one seems to know what day. Mr Grandpa Thomas Sinclair was born in the Kirkpatrick District, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on the 3rd day of April, 1897. He died on the 25th day of January, 1937 at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. I cannot give you any dates for Robert James Pocha or Alice Bannerman as I do not have any.
