Beth BALSILLIE sent me this interesting comment: “My husband and I just happen to own a building at 232 Manitoba Ave in Selkirk that was a Jewelry store with a barber shop on the east side. Hmmm”
I remember Edgar PRUDEN’s Barber Shop in Selkirk many years ago myself but had forgotten exactly where it was. I’m sure it was the one that Beth mentions.
I also went to high school in Selkirk with Billy MOLSON whose dad also at one time had a barber shop on Manitoba Ave. Was this the same shop where Edgar PRUDEN was?
