Email today from Clara JEEFREY: I do know that Margaret GORDON married Bill SMITH (a deserter from the British army) when she was very young. My dad, Bill GORDON, tried to talk her out of it but she insisted much to her regret. They adopted two children, Reginald and Elizabeth Grace (Honey). Bill SMITH died after 20 years of marriage and Margaret remarried shortly after. Her first child died at birth and her second Ricky, is alive and well and living in BC with his wife and family.
