Hello! Does anyone know how William Bird died (1803-1885)? I just noticed the year he died coincides with the Metis 1885 battle at Batoche. Was he involved, is this how he died?

This William died in High Bluff-Poplar Point in 1885, NOT in the Battle of Batoche.
