Hi G,, love the record but theres a mistake..

Mary Martha Stevenson(b1911) did marry Elzear George McPherson(b1898), however his parents were Pierre Cyr (son of Joseph Cyr jr. and Marie Perrault) and Marion (Mary Ann) Jourdain (daugher of Simon Jourdain and Archange Mainville). i really cant say how this worked considering Pierre was listed as being only 9 in 1891. the first child these two had together was Bruno McPherson b1896, i'm thinking Pierre was alot older then listed in the census of 1891. this Cyr family totally disappears until joseph jr appears in the 1921 census of Fort Frances (widow and alone, dies in 1930 in Fort Frances.)

Also you will find Mary (Tudoruk) Stevenson on the 1916 census of Selkirk page 3 shes listed with her mother Matrina who is using her deceaced husbands name "Maxime" and a daughter Catherine age 4....

Thanks for keeping me on my toes JC – You’re absolutely right about Elzear’s parents; my mistake. I will make the correction.
Regarding the 1916 census: I am familiar with that confusing record.

Sorry, i forgot to add this, Christie died giving birth to her son Stewart her date of death was nov 15 1908 and his birth date was nov 15 1908, i think some one at Vital statistics has his date of death wrong it says he was only four months old...died in 1909..

St. Peter's Anglican Church records show that Stewart Stevenson was born Nov. 15, 1908, baptized Nov. 17, 1908, died April 8, 1909.

Hi Merrily,,, Was reading Lena Stevenson Obit this morning it states that all of her sibling had died before her with the exception of Shirley Lakatos, Lena married a Jack McGillvary he died in 1994 Lena Died in 2010 in Lucan Ontario, as well as Ann Stevenson,Lucan as well, Ethel Died in 2008 in Winnipeg she married a Horsley no names or dates of birth for either of them, i was just wondering if you had any dates of births and deaths for this family. ( would help me complete this part of my family tree.) or maybe if you can send the address of the church i could write them to find out. Thanks..

Update: Please not that I have added new information to the narrative from obituaries I recently discovered for James STEVENSON and for Mary Martha (nee TODORUK) STEVENSON – LECLAIR.
I look forward to your further comments.
