My Grandparents were Joachim Hormidas Cavanaugh and Helen Eliza Janet Nice. Thank you for putting the Family page up so quickly! I am happy for the opportunity to work with you in this. Feel free to inquire about anything that I may be able to help with. What you have posted already is nearly the extent of what I have on that direct line of my family history.

My mother had James Bird and Isabel Gibson as Elise Bird's parents, though I have seen other Family trees on Ancestry.com that have different parents listed and I have no documentation to show that any are accurate. Also I have seen Elise Bird as being Eliza, Alice, Elise and Elizabeth with last names of Sipi, Bird, Friser and Bruyere. I don't know if they are all the same person, though they always show up in the same geographical area with similar years of birth and the same spouse. In 1881 census Catherine, Frances and Sophia are listed as children of Joseph and Elise. I can't find any census of Joseph/Elise in 1891 or 1901 and when they show up in the 1906, 1911, 1916 and 1921 census records there are several other children but by then the first 3 are all married. I also am unsure on the parents of Joseph Bruyere, though I think they came from Quebec.
