Does anyone happen to have any further information on him? I'm a descendant and his illusive nature coupled with his marriage to Mary after she had already been the second wife of another is so intriguing to me. I would love to know more if anyone knows anything what so ever!

Joseph Archibald McLENNAN (1814-1865) married MARY POLLY (nee HUMPHREYVILLE) BALLENDINE (1817-1877), the daughter of Hannah TURNER and Thomas HUMPHREYVILLE (b-1779).
MORE ABOUT THOMAS HUMPHREYVILLE
Mary Polly HUMPHREYVILLE’s first husband was John BALLENDINE (1800-1879).

Tell us more about your lineage. Who were your parents, grandparents, etc?
I have lots of information about Josaph Archibald McLENNAN, but his family is not currently on my Priority List. I do however create Special Family Pages for people who make donations.

Thank you for your reply!
Florence Lee Cook, daughter of Roderick Cook and Joseph's daughter Eliza McLennan, is my great great grandmother. I'll definitely make a donation next month, and, if any help is needed, I'm an Indigenous Studies student that comes across a lot of information that you might find interesting or helpful in my research and have lots of access to historical texts, field notes, etc. through the U of R and U of S libraries, and will have access to the U of M's library system next year.
Also I have pictures of Roderick Cook and Eliza McLennan I can send you if you'd like to include them on Roderick's page.
