Re: PHILIP TURNOR (1751-1799)

Good evening Pat,

As stated in previous posts, I have had my DNA done. Two persons have been identified as sharing some DNA with me who appear to be Inuit.

Re: PHILIP TURNOR (1751-1799)

Hello all interested in this forum topic. I am looking for comment on the topic of Philip Turnor offspring. I am looking for information on John Turnor (1779-1844), Mary Aggathas Kennedy (nee Turnor) (1782-1863) and Hannah (Ann or Annie) Humphreyville (nee Turnor) (b. circa 1790) if they are not off...

Re: PHILIP TURNOR (1751-1799)

Hello Barbara, and others following this discussion, Firstly, Barbara, thank you for writing and sharing your great biography. Philip Turnor does not receive the recognition he deserves. My connection is through Mary Morrison (Turner), the sister of Charlotte and also a daughter of Joseph Turner and...

Re: JAMES MORRISON (1818-1895)

I have submitted another DNA sample requesting a full sequence testing of the mitochondrial DNA. I am using MyHeritage and FTDNA at this time. If I understand the science and what I can expect from the results, I should be able to confirm the records that connect me to and through the spouse of Jose...

Re: RICHARD GOOD (1780-1850)

I am another who is particularly interested in the mystery surrounding Joseph Alexander Turnor's (1783-1865) wife. I am a descendant of Mary Morrison (Turnor) (1824-1901). I have submitted my DNA for Mitochondrial testing. My maternal lineage leads back and through the spouse of Joseph Alexander Tur...

Re: JAMES MORRISON (1818-1895)

Just a note to say that I have received DNA results that connects me to WDM, a descendant of Jane Turner and Alexander McLeod. My connection is through Mary Turner and James Morrison. Jane and Mary were sisters and the daughters of Joseph Turner (1783-1865) and Emma Good. My great grandmother was El...

Re: JAMES MORRISON (1789-1872)

Thank you.... I am pleased to see that the connection from Morrison through to Haubrick (Haubrich) has been made. The difference in spelling is an interesting "tell" as to the source of the information. Normally the "k" is associated to descendants of Adolph and Ada and not desce...

Re: JAMES MORRISON (1789-1872)
