Re: HERMAN PATZER (1878-1958)

Gary: What is the missing link between Herman Patzer and Vera Patzer who married James Zalisko? Barry.

PS: Does old Dan Patzer fit into this family somewhere? Dan owned the Riverside Grill for what seemed like centuries.

Re: THOMAS BUNN (1830-1875)

Gary: I believe this person could be referring to Thomas Bunn (born 1765 in England) and his 2nd wife Sarah McNab. Therefore the title "An Englishman in Rupertsland". Their daughter was Mary Bunn (born 1798) and married to William McKay (born 1793). Possible??

Re: WILLIAM PHILLIPS (1842-1922)

Gary: Jack Phillips' first wife was Sarah Lucy Boskill. They married in 1899, when he was 25 and she was 23. No children that I am aware of. When Lucy died in 1924, Jack re-married in 1926 to Mary Ann Johnstone (1865-1954). Again, no children, because they are both getting on in years. Mary Ann was ...

Re: GEORGE MELVILLE COVE (1876-1957)

Gary or Brenda: I have all the Still family and their spouses including Rev. Murray and Brenda. All I need is a father and grandfather connection for Brenda to get to George Melville. That would complete her tree. Can anyone fill in the blanks. Names, marriage dates, birth dates, death dates, etc. W...

Re: DONALD GEORGE HARDISTY (1911-1972)

Gary: Sorry for being a pest. Donald George Hardisty's daughter Shirley Thelma was married to Colin Gordon Gerald (Gerry) Fidler. This is true because her mother's obit states she is survived by daughter Mrs. Gerry Fidler. (Shirley.) Now read Gerry's obituary : http://www.gilbartfuneralhome.com/obit...

Re: JOHN HODGSON (1826-1898)

Gary: I know that John and Catherine were cousins. That is not the cousins I meant. John Hodgson who married Catherine Davis had a brother William Hodgson married to Nancy Cook. They both had sons named Joseph Hodgson. You show John and Catherine's son Joseph married to Elizabeth Halcrow. I show Wil...

Re: JOHN HODGSON (1826-1898)

Gary: Me, again. You show John Hodgson's son Joseph Hodgson (1853) married to Elizabeth Jane Halcrow (1860). I have info showing Elizabeth was married to Joseph Hodgson (1859), son of William Hodgson (1828) who was John Hodgson's brother. Which cousin married the Halcrow girl? Also, who married the ...

Re: WILLIAM PHILLIPS (1842-1922)

Gary: William Phillip's son John (Jack) (B: 1874) married Sarah Lucy (Boskill) Whyte (Born Nov. 26, 1876) on Sep. 13, 1894. She was the daughter of John Boskill and Jane Settee. When Jane and Frank Whyte were married, Frank adopted John's children. Frank and Jane had no children together. Aunt Lucy'...

Re: WILLIAM FLETT (1786-1852)

Gary: Off-topic?? I thought this was geneology we are doing. When I see a glitch in historical data, I WILL try to resolve the issue. If my data is in error, as this was, I am more than happy to have someone correct it for me. I try to be as close to correct as I can. Call it anal. I hope you feel t...
