Re: JOHN BENSON ORVIS (1844-1930)
4. July 27, 1878 ANN CATHERINE ORVIS (m. William Thomas COOK) later (m. Samuel CONNOLLY)
And then:
"8. Aug 13, 1896 ANN CATHERINE (twin) ORVIS (m. Samuel CONNOLLY)"
Should be: 8. Aug 13, 1896 ANN Elizabeth (twin) ORVIS , died in infancy

Re: JOHN BENSON ORVIS (1844-1930)
Ann Catherine Orvis was first married to Thomas Cook Mar 29 1891. The marriage didn't last long. Thomas Cook is found in later census living with his mother. I am not sure if she divorced Thomas Cook. Was she just living common-law with Samuel Connolly and assume his name? She died as Ann Catherine ...

Gary small fixes needed Aug 8, 1831: -- - I have now got all my Daughters married, the last two (Elizabeth & Letitia) on one day to An Orkney man & a Half Breed, a native of this country, both of the name of James INKSTER – the first is from Orphir and a boat builder by trade – the second is the Son...

Re: ALEXANDER ANDERSON (1865-1950)
Interesting Story, I was recently contacted by a descendant of William Richard ‘Sharkey’ Thomas and Christina Anderson complaining about how I had posted the wrong information for Sharkey’s family on ancestry. It seems he had told all his children an entirely different story. I ask her to visit this...

Re: DAVID ALFRED BRUCE (1876-1969)
Hi again Gary, I believe this belongs to another part of the family tree. In 1923 step-son William James PRUDEN married Florence McLENNAN in St Clements, the daughter of Mary Olivier TELLIER and Frank MACLENNAN (1873-1954). The record reads William James ROBERT Pruden. I have worked this part of the...

Re: DAVID ALFRED BRUCE (1876-1969)
Hi Gary,
I found another typo: In 1913 step-son David BRUCE married Mary Elizabeth COOK.
Should be: David Thomas Pruden
