Re: ROBERT HOURIE (1815-1911)

I found this article in the The Prince Albert Times, December 28, 1888, Page 1, Item Ar00105. It says that a Mr Robert Hourie died at Peter Hourie's , his son, place on the Thursday last (20 Dec 1888) of a heart attach. http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/newspapers/PAT/1888/12/28/1/Ar00105.html?query=n...

Re: ROBERT HOURIE (1815-1911)

I have not been able to find any supporting material that shows Robert Hourie survived until 1911. I have not been able to find him in 1881, 1891, 1901, 1906, or 1911 Census. No death records. No burial records. I did find a Robert James Hourie that died 2 Feb 1890 in Saskatchewan some place but I h...

Re: JOHN LAMBERT (1827-1902)

BarbaraNielson44 on Ancestry.ca has done a pile of detailed work on Margaret Lambert and Mary Ann Lambert from the BC side. She is missing the Manitoba side but the BC side is quite extensive. I've asked her to connect with your website.

Re: JOHN LAMBERT (1827-1902)

I found a Manitoba Birth Record for Catherine Angelie Irvine Born 23 Mar 1883 in R.M. of St Andrews to Cath Lambert. This may help explain the parents of Catherine A Lambert, granddaughter of John Lambert in the 1891 Census.

Re: PRICE ISHAM aka ASHAM (1789-1833+)

I have to agree. I want to try to reference my sources more. On Lang Family Tree on Ancestry.ca I've created a source for the "Red River Ancestry of Manitoba" so I can reference this source. This way updates to the source are available to future readers. The only problem is if Gary changes the URL o...

Re: PRICE ISHAM aka ASHAM (1789-1833+)

Gary, you do such great work. Can I recommend you explicitly claim the copyrights on each one of your pages. Davidita on Ancestry has posted an almost full copy of your John Lambert page on Ancestry.ca but doesn't include any source info. Now I think about, I may be guilty too.

Re: ASHAM

I'm going to agree that Jane Asham, country wife of Joseph Heywood, was likely the daughter of James Asham and born in 1800. I don't have any supporting material either way (excluding Sprague) but I can't see Joseph Heywood taking a 44 year old country wife. A 14 year old is far more consistent with...
