Re: JOHN INKSTER (1806-1864)

Do you know when Percy James Inkster pasted away and where? I'd also love an update on Stanton Lee Inkster' brother and sisters. I have Robert Jane (1938-) and Nancy Ann (1939-).

Re: JOHN INKSTER (1806-1864)

I've tried to correct your list below. The problem is that there are 2 John Inkster's in Red River Settlement born in the 1800's. People often cross them up. You had the correct John Inkster but the wrong parents.

Re: GARY STILL (1939-Living)

Gary, I truly saddened by hearing of your illness. I have your web site on the top of my favourite's list and often start my genealogy research at your web site. The website will be a lasting memory of our ancestors and to your hard work. Thank you for this. I'm sorry I can't be there to help you ...

Re: JOHN LAMBERT (1827-1902)

In the 1901 Census, Eveline May Low (4 Mar 1895 - ) is shown as adopted by Mary Ann (Lambert) Gove. In the 1906 Census, Eveline May Low is shown as a niece. Do you have any idea what happened to her?

Re: JOHN THOMAS (1751-1822)

Who's on first? This year I think Isham was the hardest to research. In past years William Robert Smith's family drove me nuts but lots of other people provided clues. Isham's sort of fad into the woodwork. Thomas Thomas was difficult because Ancestry Search can't tell if you're searching for a ...

Re: ROBERT HOURIE (1815-1911)

I agree, it's not perfect. The first 3 residence at Prince Albert settlement arrived 1867. They had a hard start and didn't really call PA home until 1870. I suspect Peter Hourie went to PA after 1876 when his wife died. Is 14 years, an earliest settler? 73 years old would be close to an "oldest ...

Re: ROBERT HOURIE (1815-1911)

I found this article in the The Prince Albert Times, December 28, 1888, Page 1, Item Ar00105. It says that a Mr Robert Hourie died at Peter Hourie's , his son, place on the Thursday last (20 Dec 1888) of a heart attach.
