Re: JACOB CORRIGAL (1773-1844)
Thanks Donn – I have made the correction. Regarding Jacob’s children: I have found variations regarding the birth dates of some of Jacob’s children. Do you have them, and if / who / when they married? "Jacob and (William Goodwin's fraternal) Twin, Mary (Goodwin) Corrigal's children are: one ba...

Re: ALFRED HERBERT FOWLER (1873-1948)
Help sought! I typed a great message related to two of the three "Williams"; namely only now the two ; one the lone twin, "William Goodwin" -who was lodged permanently in Yoxford England-- and his nephew William Corrigal whom, in 1840, had settled with his three spinster sister i...

Re: JACOB CORRIGAL (1773-1844)
Barry Another thought occurred to me that Jacob Corrigal's older brother William Corrigal (b.1774-d.1832), of the HBC who was slaughtered by starving Indians, south of James Bay at his Hannah Bay Post, along with his native wife and a few half-breed children, may have had one of those half-breed son...

Re: JACOB CORRIGAL (1773-1844)
Barry I have no idea if there is any factual information on a "related" Joseph Corrigal as valid; however, when Jacob Corrigal paid the boarding bill for his very young son William Corrigal, to a Mrs Monger--possibly in England or Orkney- Corrigal also paid the boarding cost for some one n...

Re: ROBERT GOODWIN (1761-1805)
Gary , This foregoing mostly erroneous Robert Goodwin publication is that of my great great great great grandfather of Yoxford England whom, at age 20, was an HBC English surgeon and later became an HBC Trader, and post " Master", the boss of young Jacob Corrigal , at the Osnaburg House on...

Re: JACOB CORRIGAL (1775-1844)
I've corrected Jacob Corrigals birth year to 1775. The HBC's 1772 is what Jacob inferred in 1790 when he was only age 15, and not 18.
