Re: ARTHUR PRUDEN (1820-1867)

Gary: You state that Charles Pruden (Born 1854), Arthur's son, married his half cousin Mary Pruden, daughter of J.P. Pruden (Born 1829) and Mary Smith. Where, on J.P.'s page does it ever show him married to a Mary Smith? I don't recall where I got the info, but I have Charles (1854) married to a Mar...

Re: WILLIAM PRUDEN (1804-1844)

Gary: For what it's worth, here is what I have. Old J.P. Pruden had several children, amongst them William (Born 1804) and Cornelius (Born 1822). William (1804) married Marie Nancy Henry (Born 1810). Amongst their children were Cornelius (Born 1834) who married Jane Rowland (Born 1849), and another ...

Re: JACOB CORRIGAL (1773-1844)

Gary: On the William Todd page you state this about his daughter Elizabeth...... (In 1862 daughter Lizzie married Joseph CORRIGAL (1839-1862) of Mapleton, a Teacher at St Johns. Joseph was either a son or a grandson of Mary GOODWIN and Jacob CORRIGAL (1775-1844)). On the Jacob Corrigal page, you say...

Re: WHITE BEAR aka TURNER (1780-1844)

Gary: You show Margaret Bear (Born 1800) as a daughter of White Bear, and married to Alexander Kennedy. On the Philip Turnor page, you show her as his daughter, born 1785, and married to Alexander Kennedy. Both pages direct you to the same Alexander Kennedy family. Which one is the father of Margare...

Re: JAMES PALMER (1881-1963)

Gary: James Palmer's son Joseph Clifford married Patricia Geard, daughter of Harry and Nellie Geard. Patricia had three siblings that I know of. Edward (Ted), Edith Mae, and Charles Henry (Charlie). Edie Mae married Edward Jablonski and Charlie married Marie Switzer. Marie was a classmate of my firs...

Re: WILLIAM AUGUSTUS DURIE (1870-1954)

Gary, we seem to be passing right by each other. I have NO parents for William Lawrence Durie. He was born in 1847, long before Anna Peel, his SUPPOSED mother was born. William Smith Durie (B:1813) married Anna Peel (B:1856) in 1881. Thier son William Arthur Peel Durie was born in 1881 and thier dau...

Re: WILLIAM AUGUSTUS DURIE (1870-1954)

Gary: William Lawrence Durie, surveyor, was the father of William Augustus Durie. What evidence is there out there that links William Lawrence Durie to William Smith Durie (QOR of Canada) and a wife with the name Anna or anything else, prior to William Smith Durie's marriage late in life to Anna Pee...

Re: WILLIAM AUGUSTUS DURIE (1870-1954)

Gary: There is no mistake about the Anna Peel info. I have read hundreds of pages of info about her life and escapades. She was 44 years younger than William Smith Durie, not older. Try this site: http://digital.lib.sfu.ca/ceww-587/durie-anna-peel She was so obsessed with having her son's body burie...

Re: WILLIAM AUGUSTUS DURIE (1870-1954)

Gary: Interesting. You say William Augustus was the grandson of William Smith Durie and Anna (Peel) Durie. William Lawrence Durie was born in 1847. William Smith Durie was born in 1813 and his wife Anna was born in 1856. People aren't born before thier mothers. I have spent 30 years trying to connec...
