Re: ANGELIQUE & RODERICK McKENZIE (1772-1859)
I'm sorry, my old brain is a little confused with all this. What exactly (simply put) is the question and who is asking? If we have new info regarding the parents of OUR (My) Roderick, please stay here with the question (or answer). I cannot answer that any better than what I already indicated; I am...

Re: Children of Sadie & Alfred CAMPION
Thanks for the info Ross I didn't have anything about Chester, so that's a great help. Yes, that was Kenneth "Buddy" CAMPION who died Oct 26, 2004 at the Selkirk General, age 85. I have the obit. It says he was survived by his brothers Chester and Ronald, and sister Bonnie (FREEMAN). Also ...

Re: ANGELIQUE & RODERICK McKENZIE (1772-1859)
That's an interesting question, Adam
Unfortunately I have not been able to determine who were the parents of Elizabeth Charlotte SIMPSON. One reference indicates that she was the daughter of a high-ranking East India Company merchant in Madras and Calcutta, but doesn't name him.

Re: Rodericks
Thanks very much Don! I will use this information to revise and update my narratives in the near future. One thing that still sticks in my craw though: My info indicates that Roddy of Terrebonne retired from the NWC in 1803, long before the HBC take-over , and long before George SIMPSON came on the ...

ANGELIQUE & RODERICK McKENZIE (1772-1859)
I just received a posting on my Peter Fidler Forum from Adam PAXTON from England, regarding Angelique. Welcome to the Red River Forum. Adam. You will probably have to re-register your user-name and password for this Forum. Sorry to inconvenience you with this redirection, but I am now dealing with t...

Re: BAPTISTE COOK & NANCY SANDERSON
My information indicates that Nancy & Baptiste COOK once received Treaty at Norway House, where they lived for about 19 years. After that they were taken into the St Peters Band. However, they claimed and received Halfbreed Scrip around 1885, forfeiting their Treaty Status. In other words, after...

BAPTISTE COOK & NANCY SANDERSON
A lady named Linda is interested in the SANDERSON-COOK genealogy.
Around 1858 Baptiste COOK (1836-1888) married Nancy SANDERSON b-1841.
Baptiste died on Jan 6, 1888 in St Clements Parish.
Are you aware, Linda, that in 1890 Nancy re-married to John COCHRANE (1836-1917)?
