PETER PRUDEN (1807-1889)

On the topic of son Louis Pruden and Fanny Isbister, I also believe they were never married but I do believe they had a relationship and Alexander Edward Pruden (May 2,1866 - Dec 18,1900) was the results of it. He is with William and Francis Cochran(e) in both the 1881 Census http://data2.collection...

Re: LOUIS SIMARD (1855-1920)

No, But I keep looking for connections to my or my husbands family. I am from the Selkirk Thorsteinson's of 1911 census. My husband is from the Pruden,Sinclair, Flett,Isbister & Balsillie Lines.
There are a few times I notice editing errors, is it ok to comment? I don't what to be a nuisance.

Re: LOUIS SIMARD (1855-1920)

In the Children List, Is there two Catherines born the same year?
Also tpg, is a typo for WPG. They did the same thing for John Balsillie's death... Age 46 instead of 66. Maybe the old paperwork is to hard to read.

Re: JAMES MONKMAN (1847-1932)

Sorry to bug you, you have been really busy lately and I'm engoying your work! 1)The first mayor of Selkirk was his name spelled Cocleugh or Colcleugh? And didn't his son Wallace marry one of the Ackroyd girls? 2) Thank-you for Peter Pruden's page! Small error at the bottom of the page, Child # 9 is...

Re: PRUDEN - BALSILLIE - FLETT

I found the info I was looking for and nothing very interesting there, but I did find John Edward " Ted" Harriott a bit more fascinating. He may not have been important, but interesting.
I also ckecked out a few more of your pages, Ventrice Parent's what a sad story.

Re: PRUDEN - BALSILLIE - FLETT

Thank-You Gary! You have confirmed the family secert. The two Balsillie families have been trying to find the connection since 2000. I don't beleive Ann and John were married because James was baptized Flett and he didn't figure out how to spell his name until his late teens. I also found all of Pet...

Re: Great Web Site

My husband, Grant is one of Ellen and James's great-grandsons. We have three kids and five grandchildren. I want to make sure the facts are right for them, if they ever deside to look. My new quest is to find out more on Ann Flett. Did you know John and Ann had a daughter in 1862 names Florence Ann....

PRUDEN - BALSILLIE - FLETT

Hi gnstill, You have done a wonderful job on the web site! It made it so easy to get information on the Pruden site of our family tree. There is a small problem on the John "Edward" Pruden page. Daughter Ellen married in Winnipeg to James Balsillie, "son" not daughter of Ann Flet...
