I have Sutherland Norquay on the 1901 Census as born in Scotland in 1853. His wife Elizabeth Jessie died in ~1898 and some of the children can be found on the 1901 census in an orphanage.

You wrote it on the page for Alexander McLeod. It's funny though, because I also read it in the copies of correspondence between my great-grandmother and another relative who was doing genealogy research in the late 70s.

It lists James Morrison Jr.'s mother as Mary Turner, and also his wife as Mary Turner. Is this correct? If so, his mother Mary Turner was the child of which other Turner?

If Philip Turner and Jane Turner were siblings, and Philip is the father of Robert Turner and Jane is the mother of Annie McLeod, doesn't that make Robert Annie's cousin, not her uncle?
