Kipling family

Post by mkipling » Sat Nov 19, 2011 9:34 am

I am a Kipling from the UK who can trace his origins back to Barningham in the UK, just as can John Kipling of Gloucester House.

I have recently started a DNA testing programme to which now 10 men named Kipling has so far contributed. On eof these is a proven relative of Rudyard Kipling the famous author.

If any Kiplings in Canada (or the US) are descended in the male line from John Kipling (most likely still called Kipling, Keplin or some similar variant) and would like to participate (at no cost to themselves) we may be able to confirm more about John Kipling's ancestry in the UK and whethre or not the same family gave rise to the author.

And I would be grateful if non-Kipling readres could pass this message on to any Kiplings/Keplins they know.

Mike Kipling
