Just thinking this Family pic should be called Archibald David Johnstone Family or do I have his middle name incorrect. Edith McLeod b_emcleod@hotmail.com

Gary, good to hear from you. My husband Barry McLeod B.1944, is the only son of Norman B.1906, son of Norman B.1870 and Maria Jemima Johnston aka Minnie. We have pics of her 1943c, was wonderful to see her as a young teen. Would be interested in the future adding the Normans to your Index, How does this work, I have no idea what a website like this works, $ and would a person contribute the info to you via Word? I have been pouring over this info since I found it a month ago, I am impressed with all of your work!! And I really like the idea of saving all the info this way, I have often wondered what will happen to my research, please keep in touch, Edith McLeod, Kamloops, BC

Hi. I've been doing a bit of family tree research off and on over the last couple of years. I was fortunate enough to have some information on various branches of the tree. A friend mentioned the Red River Ancestry site, so I checked it out and was excited to find quite a bit of info on my Mom's side of the family (both paternal & maternal sides). I can't wait to show my mom all of this. Archibald David Johnstone was her Grandfather. His daughter, Annabella, is my Great-grandmother. I don't know that we have many pictures of Annabella so it is exciting to see the family picture on their page. Looking forward to doing more research and sharing what I find with my family. Keep up the good work.
Re: ARCHIBALD DAVID JOHNSTONE (1829-1904)
Your great grandmother Annabella of course married Captain Humphrey BRYAN (1876-1950). Which one of their children was your Grandparent, and who did they marry?
Re: ARCHIBALD DAVID JOHNSTONE (1829-1904)
Hi Gary. It's Wendy (wbarr). My grandfather was William Archibald Bryan. He married Ada Baker (who was the daughter of Walter Baker & Ann Wood). Ann Woods parents were John Wood & Mary Ashford. As far as Walter Baker, his father was Tom Baker and his mother was Mary Ann ???? (I have to look through things to find her maiden name).

Thanks Wanda. Now I can point to your Great-great Grandparents at this link:
JOHN WOOD (1839-1893+)
I have quite a bit of information about your lineage but it isn’t on my Priority List at this time. A reminder, as previously mentioned above, I often do Special Family Pages for people who make donations.

Hi Gary. It's Wendy (not Wanda....LOL). Yes, I see there is a fair bit of information on the website I still need to check out. I am sure you have your hands full so I won't bother you at this time. With what I have found on this website (and others) I should be OK. We will make a donation in the near future to show our appreciation for all the work that has gone into this. Have a great day!
