Hi Angie! Nice to see you got your password working.

I remember Marty BRUCE, the fiddle-player. As a teenager I used to love to watch him play at the Red River Fiddling and Jigging Contests in the Selkirk Park. Are you saying he was your hubby’s father?

I've got to shut down for now; will get to your other postings tomorrow.

Please tell us more about Marty BRUCE. When was he born; when did he die?
What was his wife's maiden name, etc?

I have lots of information on the BRUCE ancestors but not so much about descendants who were born after about 1916.

I remember Guy ADAMS and Doug CLOUSTON (ADAMS).

According to my information, Guy ADAMS was a child of Eleanor Gladys ADAMS, daughter of Miriam “Millie” McLEOD and Percy ADAMS (1897-1937). Eleanor was a sister of Doreen ADAMS (b-1925) who never married but had two children with George Edward CLOUSTON (b-1913).

Around 1950 the CLOUSTON family lived for a short time right behind the old Mapleton School and I remember going to school with both Doug CLOUSTON and Guy ADAMS who were a year or two younger than me so they were born around 1941-42.

In 1966 Eleanor ADAMS married Walter Alexander LECLAIR (b-1907), son of Frances PEEBLES and George LECLAIR (b-1870).
