That’s as far back as I got.
When/where was your grandmother (Shirley TAYLOR) born and who did she marry?

Aww... But that old of information is hard to find. As for my nana, she was born on April 29th, 1936, in Wainwright, Alberta. She also never married.

My maternal grandmother descends from James Taylor’ s line. His son William Taylor (1831-1868) married Margaret Gunn (1838-1878), daughter of Hon. Donald Gunn.
They had a son, William Henry Taylor (1862-1946) who married Margaret Bremner (1863-1920) daughter of Charles Bremner, who is famous for having his furs commandeered by General Middleton during the 1885 uprising. The Bremner, Sayers, and Taylor’s settled the Bresaylor area.
My grandmother Rise Taylor was born July 9, 1899 in Alberta. She passed away in 1981 in Vermilion,Alberta. She had married Charles Robert Gordon from Ballymena in 1916. They raised sons James, Robert and Hugh and daughters Ethel and Edna, my mother in Mannville, Alberta.
