Hi again, Just another little update....Campbell Ratt lived in a log cabin at the mouth of the red river, this was part of the reserve. He later lived in a cabin at Chalet beach. All his children went to school in Matlock. He had I believe 2 daughters and 4 sons, im not sure of his wife's name. One child was Ruth who married Donald Harper after the war and one son's name was Robert he was the youngest son and would be about 82 now.

Eliza Foulds, daughter of John Foulds and Nancy Williams, married on March 21, 1895 at St Clements, Mb to Robert Stone. Nancy went on to marry, after John Foulds her husband died. She married Joseph Rat (diff person than John James Rat who married Lucy Henderson). I have Joseph Rat as the son of Louison Rat and Harriette Takkokweyan. John James Rat's father I have as Antoine Rat. Robert Stone's parents I have as Peter and Isabelle Stone....

Nancy Williams with husband Joseph Rat, had 3 girls and 5 boys. One of the girls born , in 1884 and died about 1906-1907, married to William Sinclair and possibly had a girl named Aurelia Sinclair born about 1904-1905.
Aurelia may have married a William A. Lennox on Sept 18, 1916 Wakefield, Mb and had a daughter named Marguerite Pearl Lennox born Aug 2, 1917 at R.M. of St Andrews, Mb.

The Joseph Rat was the grandson of makadeshib, an anishnape from the red river area. Joseph Rat's father was Louison (Le)Rat, also known as makadeshib II. My great-great-great-great mushum pîhtowêwi-kîsik (Francois Norbert Lerat) and Louison (Le)Rat were brothers.
