Hi Gary
Good job on the new site. The Campion section brought back many childhood memories. In later years I crossed paths with Chester when I was in Whitehorse in the late 70's and again when he traveled to Inuvik a year or two later and had a good visit. If I remember rightly he was close to retiring from his position with the Yukon Highways Dept at the time. The Yukon News shows his obit as Campion,Chester Vernon - B. Aug 9 1918 Selkirk,MB, D Aug 18 1993 Whitehorse YT age 75.
While I was looking for it I came across a listing for a Winnipeg Free Press 2004-10-28 obit for a Campion Kenneth (Ken) - B Selkirk MB, D age 84. on rootsweb. May or may not be Buddy.
Also CBC Archives has a 1968 interview with a Marshall Campion at http://archives.cbc.ca/economy_business ... ips/17118/ He was managing an HBC trading post at Rupert House in northern Quebec at the time.
All the best for the new year!!
