Daughter Sonia / Sophia (age 3, 7) is identified as a child in the census records for 1916 an 1921 in Winnipeg.

Hi Gary,
I talked with my aunt Lorna Josefchuk (Joseph Josefchuk's wife) pertaining to whether Adam and Justyne had a daughter named Sonia/Sophia and she did not think so (Lorna was there in Winnipeg, so she was with Adam and Justyna when she married their son, Joseph... my dad's twin brother). However... What she did tell me was that Adam had a sister named Sophie and a brother named John (can we put this on Adams family history page?).
I'm hoping Gary Kostuck will chime in in the near future to add more to the Josefchuk pages (and probablly create a Kostuck page).

In Peter JOSEFCHUK’s 1965 obituary it mentions his sister named Sophie as the wife of Andrew WESLAKE of Levack, Ontario.

Gary... The only thing I can think of is that 'Sophie' is actually 'Josephine' who is married to Andrew Weslake (WASYLYK).
Also, Adam Josefchuk's sister Sophie's last name was Lipkowski (sp?)... Adam also had a brother John.

I hope you are doing well.
I am so excited to have figured out tonight where my Aunt Nellie Josefchuk (daughter of Adam and Justine) was buried via google http://cemetery.canadagenweb.org/faq.html (her last name is misspelled and I sent in a correction. They have it spelled as 'Josafchuk' (I believe the head stone is difficult to read). You had her born in 1912... I do not know when she died, but her sister had told me Nellie was about 15 and died from TB. She also was said by her sister, Olga to have a wonderful humor. Is there any way to get any more information on Nellie?... probably not... (she was buried at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 5819 Henderson Hwy, Narol, MB R1C 0B5.

(I always wanted to know more about Nellie... actually, I always though she was a baby/toddler when she died, but I was surprised that her sister Olga told me she was 15. Olga passed away in 2011 at the age of 91 http://www.hitzemanfuneral.com/olga-e-k ... josefchuk/

I also found that Justyna (Adam's wife) was born March 18, 1887 and died Nov 7, 1962
Adam was born May 15, 1885 and died March 7, 1971
Peter Josefchuk (son of Adam and Justyna) passed away January 1965

Hi Gary,
It's Nelliie Josefchuk's information (cemetery and headstone) with birth and death dates that I could never find. I knew it was way out in the country somewhere, because as a child I remember going there with my grandparents and parents to visit Nelli's grave (it had a black iron gate around it, and I would love to see what it looks like). I also didn't think you had Peter's death date...
