Hello,
I want to thank Gary Still's family for maintaining this wonderful website that he created. I discovered through reading a thesis by Erin Millions- "By Education and conduct: educating trans-indigenous fur trade children...." that Annie McKenzie, the wife of Donald Ross Jr. is the daughter of Samuel McKenzie and his first wife, Sarah, who was an Indigenous woman who died in 1860. That was all I could find out about her. Samuel then married Ann Spencer at Ile a la Cross in 1862.
