In the Children List, Is there two Catherines born the same year?
Also tpg, is a typo for WPG. They did the same thing for John Balsillie's death... Age 46 instead of 66. Maybe the old paperwork is to hard to read.

No, But I keep looking for connections to my or my husbands family. I am from the Selkirk Thorsteinson's of 1911 census. My husband is from the Pruden,Sinclair, Flett,Isbister & Balsillie Lines.
There are a few times I notice editing errors, is it ok to comment? I don't what to be a nuisance.

Please do let me know where I make errors; I appreciate it. I frequently do make typos, etc. My typing fingers are getting stiff.

Louis Simard's second wife it appears was the mother to Thomas Wilfred Simard. Her name was Flora 'Jane' Favel. Although the birth was registered in 1974 for some reason making me think that there was some confusion about who Thomas Wilfred's parents were. It appears the woman Louis was with, Mrs. St. Germain when he died did not give birth to a child for Louis. The couple were familiar with WPG and their is a hospital in the area where Mrs. St. Germain would later reappear as the owner of a building off Balmoral Street in the downtown WPG.

Hi Colleen,
It was fantastic to find this site and the information provided. I am the granddaughter of Catherine Simard/Seymour. Husband Henry James Sinclair.
We used to live out at Hollow Water back in the sixites and I met Granny's Brother Uncle Wilfred and family then. My Mom was teaching out there at that time.
Never really new alot about Grannys family except for a family history a cousin did quite a few years ago so it was awesome to read this. Wish I had more I could add to it. Also saw your Free Press column, great job!
Will keep an eye for any futher updates.
Sharon Sinclair

Welcome to the Forum Sharon!
Was your great-grandfather Andrew SINCLAIR (1860-1901) who married Jane HARPER (1859-1936)? Did you have an Uncle Charles Wright SINCLAIR (born 1891)?

Thanks Colleen,
Talk about doing without thinking:). I am not sure what Grandpa's parents same's were, but will find out later today.

I am going to get a copy of the book with the complete history and I will then copy it for you and email. I know there is a copy on Archives in Manitoba, the link is below.

We haven't actually heard from Colleen on the Forum yet Sharon. My name is Gary Still; I'm the Website Moderator.
My own interest at this particular time was in your SINCLAIR ancestors.
