Hi Gary,
I found another typo: In 1913 step-son David BRUCE married Mary Elizabeth COOK.
Should be: David Thomas Pruden

Hi again Gary,
I believe this belongs to another part of the family tree.

In 1923 step-son William James PRUDEN married Florence McLENNAN in St Clements, the daughter of Mary Olivier TELLIER and Frank MACLENNAN (1873-1954).

The record reads William James ROBERT Pruden. I have worked this part of the family up from the pieces I found from his daughter Sisper L Pruden Smith and his son Norris Louis Sellick Pruden' obit. Robert's parents are Andrew James Pruden 1872-1957 and Mary Ann Cook 1875-1928. Andrew's father is James Pruden 1847-1919 son of Peter and Suzette Pruden - blue line
Prudens have a colour chart for the descendants. Maybe you should try this for the Fidlers.

Thanks so much for the wake-up Beth! What would I do without you?
Not only that, but I completely forgot to add the Family Details, and only now realize that this William actually died in infancy.
I have done another update, and I dearly hope I got it right this time.

I’m getting to that age of memory loss. I now have terminal cancer and I guess its beginning to have an effect on my brain. Doctor tells me I may not make it into next year.

Census of 1921: David BRUCE (age 44 and widowed) and his father (Patrick BRUCE)
Shouldn't be 'and his son'?

The handwriting in the 1921 census record for Victor BRUCE was mis-read. It does however clearly show Patrick (age 70) as his father, and David (age 44) as his brother.

Whoever created the record read Victor as Petre BROWN, and David as David BROWN.
Actually, corrections (transcription errors) for the records were submitted by Beth Balsillie on May 22, 2014 (chuckle – got you this time!)

To verify, simply go to the 1921 census search and search using the name Petre Brown.
