Francois Chartrand married Eliza McKay aka Otayatch, daughter of Patrice Otayatch and Marie Mashkegonne. Marie Mashkegonne was a daughter of Indian Pierre Katchiwe of Waterhen Band (present day Skownan First Nation in Manitoba). Pierre Katchiwe was the son in law of Chief Sousouse (not Sousonse as has been documented in error) 3 times, marrying 3 of his daughters....Marie Mashkegonne was Pierre Katchiwe's 4th wife.
Isabelle Chartrand married Francois Munswano/Moswanno (aka Moosetail in our language), son of Baptiste "Pierre" Munswano and Kates Sauteuse, of the Riding Mountain Band.
