Hello,

My Grandma Cecilia Gorman (nee: Williams) parents were Clara Parisien and Percy Williams (Squirrel). She did not have a birth certificate until she retired. She is listed as their daughter in the 1926 and 1931 census. Also a hospital record for Clara Parisien was found detailing my grandma's birth in May 28, 1926 (died Aug 30, 2014). We believe she went to residential school in Brandon Manitoba from an early age but are still researching. She left Manitoba in her late teens/early twenties to work in Ontario where she started her family in 1949. This may be why she is not listed in Percy's obituary. We do have official status with Peguis First Nation through Great-Great Grandparents John Parisien & Sarah Prince, Great Grandma Clara Parisien and my Grandma Cecilia Gorman (nee: Williams), my Mother Wanda Gorman, myself Arlynn MacDermott (nee: Campbell) and my children Corrin MacDermott and Zoë MacDermott. There is a gap in Grandma's history from 1932 to 1949 that I am actively researching.

If you could add her as the daughter of Clara Parisien and Percy Williams (after you check the census records) my family would be most grateful to acknowledge her life and ancestry.

Thank you,
Arlynn MacDermott
