A bit confusing – I have these Scrip affidavits:
LAC Scrip: Co-signed July 5, 1876 by James CAMPBELL and W SINCLAIR for John PRUDEN of St Andrews; born 1838 in St Andrews, son of Nancy CAMPBELL and William PRUDEN
LAC Scrip: Cosigned Jul 5, 1876 by Thomas LYONS & John PRUDEN for Ellen, of St Andrews (resident there in 1870) wife of John PRUDEN; born 1856 in St Andrews, daughter of Nancy DANIEL and Baptiste LATERGRASS.
For that one I have Ellen’s husband as John PRUDEN b-1854, son of John PRUDEN b-1838.
