Hi Gary
New update. Emma Sayers Crozier was widowed on Mar 23, 1922. She then married Charles Dow Lansing on Feb 12, 1927 in Spokane Washington. She died there on Mar 13, 1935.

RE:

"Census of 1921 in 18-46-19-W3: John SAYERS, age 49. Children: Robert (age 20), Walter (15) and Daniel (age 19). With them is daughter Jemima (age 23), her husband, Riel ISBISTER (aged 29) and their children: Agnes ISBISTER (age 3), Martha (2) and baby Edna ISBISTER"

Hello, I just wanted to provide an update regarding the 1921 census copied above. I've been doing some research into the Sayer/Isbister families as my Grandmother's name was Cita (Ceyta) Maratha Isbister. She was the daughter of Jemima and Riel Isbister, but appears to be listed under 'Martha' in the 1921 census. (Her birth date is May 10, 1919).

My Grandmother was very secretive about her life before she moved to Ontario in the 1940's. When she passed away she left a lot of questions to be answered. If anyone has any further information regarding Cita (Ceyta) Maratha Isbister (Ryan), I would be grateful if you could share. My understanding always was that she was Cree, but have recently learned that she may in fact have been Metis.

I have fairly good information on ancestors of your grandmother, Cita or Martha ISBISTER and Charles RYAN (b-1919).
What is your mother’s maiden name?
Is CHARETTE your maiden or married name?
