Hello, I am a decedent of William Calder's daughter Jessie who married Melvin Thomas Hickerson. I am doing a little family research and any information on and of Williams kids and kids kids except for Jessie who I already know a lot of. I am particularly interested in his son Peter, I found a few pages of note that his daughter Agnes wrote and I just want to work my way down the family tree. Any info would much appreciated.

I have only limited information about this lineage from census records. I have about 9 children for Melvin Thomas HICKERSON, none of which are named Peter; one named William Walter HICKERSON (born 1899).

We need more clues to even begin to examine this lineage. When and where were your William and his son Peter born?

Genealogy needs to begin with your nearest relatives, and then you work your way back in time. Who were your parents and/or grandparents? When and where were they born?

Sorry I should have clarified better, Peter Lowe Calder is William Calder and Nancy loutit's son. Any information about him and his children that you have would be appreciated.

Peter Lowe CALDER (b-1871) married Marie COLLINS and they raised a family of nine in Fort Frances, Ontario.
