Red River Ancestry

The above was born Jan 21 1921 and was a brother of Shaun(Kelly) Hains. My father was also born in Sioux Lookout same name.I did not know him and my mother never was in depth with any information. I am trying to establish if they are the same.The birth date did throw me off but could be.My one brother was born in Sioux Lookout.There is some connection to the railroad. Any idea how to confirm would be appreciated
