Isaac is not the father of James Monkman b:1805 d;1865 in red river Manitoba . Yes Isaac b:abt 1750 in kirby Misperton,Yorkshire England, who died in Albion ONTARIO had a son James b;1774 Knapton ,east riding ,Yorkshire England. -d:1852 Alpion Township,Peel County--- ONTARIO--- . This James became James sr. when he had a son James Squire Monkman 25th May, 1807 in Allerston Yorkshire England ,d:29th June 1881 in Arran Township ONTARIO . So easy to confuse the two when starting genealogy and grabbing from other sites that people build themselves with improper sources .
