I am Maryann Morrison descendant of both Angus and Norman Morrison family both shown here. I have information on my family that I am more than willing to share and I am always looking for more information as well. Thank you for making this site.

Thanks for pulling all this together. I have been working on my family history and I have not found a source for Angus Morrison's birth date or parents. Did you find it in the HBC papers?

Angus’ birthdate / parents came from Spraue & Frye (The Genealogy of the First Metis Nation) and from the 1870 census.

Would love to have more information on your own particular lineage. Who were your parents, grandparents, etc. and which one of Angus’ children is your ancestor?
