I am researching the wife of the above, Catherine Jane Parres Mattheson. She was the daughter of my husband's great-uncle, James Parres Matthisen & wife Henrietta Salter. If anyone has any more info on descendants or ancestors of Kate, I'd love to exchange with you. I have a photo of Kate's 1st cousin, Katherine Marie Matthisen, d/o Andrew Matthisen & Gertrude (Bull) Matthisen, & their descendants. Andrew, James bro, came to Canada in 1876, about 2 years after James, then their younger brothers, Chris & Marcus, followed soon after. Their parents were Christian Matthieson & Katrine Marie Chritenson. MJ
