Re: CORNELIUS FIDLER (1832-1909)
Cornelius had a son, Albert.
Albert Fidler wed Mary Ann Dennison
They had 3 sons who lived in Poplar Point
Robert Nelson Fidler 1902-1993 (aka Toby Fidler)
Andrew Fidler died at 17 circa 1920
Harry Fidler died in infancy circa 1910
I am Toby Fidler's Granddaughter and I have details, dates & pictures on Toby's life.
How much of the family tree are you filling in?
Toby resembled his Grandmother, shown in the picture on the website.
I too have old pictures on tinprint that Toby wasn't sure of names.

I have lots of information on the FIDLER families, and I work with people who make donations to create Family Pages relating to their particular lineages. More about that at this link:

Re: CORNELIUS FIDLER (1832-1909)
Cornelius Fidler is my great, great grandfather. I am a descendant of his. Cornelius, Joseph, Ernest, Millicent and me. My mother was born in Winnipeg. My grandmother came from England in 1912 and married Ernest Fidler in 1923. My great grandmother was Annie Caroline Bird. I cannot find much info on her. I know she was a native Indian but I do not know what tribe she was from. I think she was Cree. Does anyone know? Do I have some relatives out there? Kathy

Welcome to the Forum Kathy!
Ann Caroline BIRD (b-1865) was the daughter of Elizabeth HAYWOOD and George BIRD (1841-1872) who was the son of Venus “Benny” HAY and William BIRD (1803-1885) who was a half-breed. Therefore his daughter would have also been a half-breed and not a pure-blood Indian. More about that at this link:
WILLIAM BIRD (1803-1885)
I have been reviewing your own lineage. Are you a daughter of Millicent Geraldine FIDLER who married a COLBOURNE and also a LIDDELL?

Kathy,
Yes you do have a relative out here, a first cousin even! Graham's youngest son Kyle. Proving you learn something every day, I never knew Geraldine's first name was Millicent. My dad never told me that!

Welcome aboard Kyle: Can’t seem to place you. Tell us more about Graham (last name and parents, and when/where he was born)?
Re: CORNELIUS FIDLER (1832-1909)
Hi! Glad to be here.
Graham FIDLER was born on Apr 1, 1928 in Winnipeg. His father was Ernest FIDLER (son of Joseph and grandson of Cornelius) and his mother was Millicent TODD. I just posted her information in JOSEPH FIDLER (1863-1934).

Hi Kyle, just seeing this now. Did you know that Pat's name is also Winifred? Her name was Winifred Patricia Fidler. Mom never liked being called Millicent, and Nan never liked Millie only May FidlerKFidler wrote:Kathy,
