Re: PAUL FONTAINE (1850-1921+)
Hi all... another grateful thanks is extended to Gary for the amazing work he has done on this site. Paul Fonataine 1850-1921 is very likely my 2x great grandfather. Since I am adopted I cannot say for sure at this point but the DNA evidence is suggesting that this is very likely the case.

Hi Fontaine people
I have recently established my connection to 2x great grandparents Paul Fontaine and Julie Sylvestre via DNA. It's a bit involved but interested parties can read about it here:

Also, we have a firm death/burial date for Paul Fontaine - February 24 1937 at Fort McMurray (with appreciation to Lucas McCaw)

Thanks very much Rachel. I have updated the narrative accordingly, and have added the photo of Paul FONTAINE and his children.
