I realise it's still work in progress since we still have confusions with his 3 or 4 wives.
But maybe one day we will have the answers.

Welcome aboard Marc!

My information seems to match yours down to William COOK who I have born Dec 25, 1840 in St Peters (from his Scrip) who appears to be your William born 1841.

Is Bernard LAPENSEE your father? Can you provide more info regarding Catherine’s parents and grandparents (who they married, etc).

Tannis posted: William Hemmings Cook was my great, great, great-grandfather. From the information that I have, which was done last year at the St. Boniface Historical Society, William was born in 1766, Married 1810-12-25, and died 1846-02-25. He married Mary/Agathe Cocking. His parents were John Cook and Elizabeth.....

Thanks again Tannis. I have seen that.

A Reminder: I posed a question about Albert CLARKE at this link: FORUM DISCUSSING GEORGE THOMAS FREEMAN

Remember: Most of my Family Pages have similar preset Forum Topics in order to keep things organized. To reply to a topic already started, just push the < post reply > button. Do not use the < new topic >. This way everyone interested in a particular topic will all be at the same place.

Hello again,

Gary, would you know if any of the Cook family member were 'working' or knew Louis Riel?

Thanks,

Thanks Marc: The first two links are already provided in the Family Page for WH COOK. The third link regarding the letter to him from Alex KENNEDY in 1810 is of no particular interest with regards to COOK, unless I missed something in it.

Regarding KENNEDY, Check this link: ALEXANDER KENNEDY (1781-1832)
