Hi I am new to this site and was deeply interested in the whole red river rebellion.. George Walter Sayers is my grandfather and I was wondering what all info you had on him, as well I was wondering if I could share some more accurate info on him. He still has one surviving child and that is my father. I am looking forward to hearing back, thank you.

Hi Roxy!
I have lots of information on the SAYER descendants, but I will need more information to do a proper follow-up. Tell me more about your grandparents.
When and where was George Walter SAYERS born?
What was his wife's maiden name and when and where was she born?

Now I know where you’re coming from Roxy! I have quite a bit of information about your ancestors but it will take me a while to review my info. I will get back to you later.
In the meantime, go to this link where your grandfather is named: BATTLE OF HONG KONG (1941-1945)
If you have a picture of your grandfather, it would be great to add it to that page.

Ok Roxy, I have more about your ancestors.
George Walter was the son of Liza PRUDEN and John SAYER (1874-1950) who was the
son of Mary BREMNER and Henry Fleury SAYER (1841-1916) who was the
son of Josephte FROBISHER and Pierre Guillaume SAYER (1803-1853) who was the
son of Marguerite (Indian) & John Charles SAYER (1782-1838). ** MORE ABOUT JOHN CHARLES SAYER
John Charles SAYER was the son of OBEMAU-UNOQUA and John SAYER.
** MORE ABOUT JOHN SAYER (1750-1818)
Mary BREMNER was a daughter of Half-breed Elizabeth TWATT and Alexander BREMNER (1791-1842) an HBC Trader from the Orkneys of Scotland. I have just added a
New Family Page for the forefather of the Red River BREMNER Families; here’s the link: FAMILY PAGE for ALEXANDER BREMNER (1791-1842)
Regarding the pictures: Let me know when you have pictures scanned and ready to send. I will then send you an Email. To send the pictures you would then simply attach them to a Reply Email.
